Clothes and skincare together
Your closet and your skincare in one app
Many of us keep one app for clothes, another for skincare (or a note on the phone) and a memory that lets us down anyway. Closie brings both together: your wardrobe and your bathroom shelf. In the morning you get one notification with today’s outfit and your routine steps, and before a trip one plan that packs both your suitcase and your toiletry bag.
- Clothes and skincare in one place
- One morning notification
- Trip planner with a toiletry bag
- Skincare in Closie Plus

Two apps, everything twice
A typical morning goes like this: check the weather, open the wardrobe app, then get a skincare reminder from a different app. Each one only knows part of the story. The skincare app does not know you are heading to the mountains on Thursday, and the wardrobe app does not know your toiletry bag has no sunscreen. On top of that you have two accounts, two sets of notifications and two places to add and tick things off. Getting dressed and looking after your skin are really one morning routine and one evening routine, so in Closie they live in one app. The point is not an app that does everything, but two daily decisions that do not need two separate systems.
One morning notification: your outfit and your routine
Each morning Closie sends one notification. It shows today’s look, put together from your own clothes and matched to the weather, including cold and rain, next to the morning steps of your routine, built from the products on your shelf. In the evening it reminds you of your evening steps. If the outfit is not quite right, swap one piece, and when you put it on, mark it with a single tap. You tick off your routine in the same place. It sounds small, but small things like this decide whether you are still using an app a month later.
- Today’s look matched to the forecast
- Morning and evening routine steps from your own products
- A sunscreen reminder when the UV index is 3 or higher

One trip planner: suitcase and toiletry bag
Enter your destination and dates, and Closie checks the forecast for each day, plans an outfit for every day from your clothes and builds a packing list. With Closie Plus, the same days also produce a toiletry bag: the products from your plan that you will actually need while away. You get a packing reminder before you leave. With two separate apps you would do all this twice and check yourself that the outfits and the toiletry bag match. The free plan includes one trip outfit plan, and Closie Plus gives you five a month.

Smart Buy for clothes and for skincare
In a clothes shop, take a photo of an item and Smart Buy compares it with your closet: it shows what it pairs with, works out the cost per wear and gives a verdict: buy, think about it or skip. In a beauty shop it works the same way for skincare (in Closie Plus). Closie checks what is already on your shelf, whether the product contains ingredients you want to avoid, whether you would be doubling up on active ingredients, whether it clashes with your plan and whether something is missing, such as SPF. It also takes into account your own answer to “would you buy it again?”, which you give when you finish a product.
- Clothes: a verdict, pairings with your closet and cost per wear
- Skincare: duplicates, ingredients to avoid, clashes with your plan and gaps

One place for “what do I actually own?”
In the wardrobe and in the bathroom alike, we buy things we already have because we do not see them every day. In Closie you add clothes with photos, up to 20 at once, and AI gives each item a name, category, colours and seasons. You add skincare by scanning the barcode (Closie’s catalogue and Open Beauty Facts) or by taking a photo of the label, which AI reads. For clothes you see how often you wear them and the cost per wear; for skincare, the INCI ingredient list, the period after opening (PAO) and the cost per use. In Closie Plus the app also builds weekly outfits from clothes you have not worn for more than 60 days.
What is free and what comes with Closie Plus
Your closet, today’s look, outfits, AI try-ons, Smart Buy for clothes and the trip planner all work on the free plan, with limits: up to 100 items, 30 studio photos (one-time), 3 AI try-ons and 3 Smart Buy checks a month, and one trip outfit plan. Skincare is only available in Closie Plus, a monthly or yearly subscription. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial (for new subscribers). Plus also raises the limits: a closet of up to 250 items, 50 studio photos, 30 try-ons, 15 Smart Buy checks and 5 trip plans a month. One important note: Skincare is not a medical device. It does not analyse your skin or face and does not diagnose anything.

Closet and skincare in one app: questions and answers
Is there an app that combines a wardrobe and skincare?
Yes, Closie. It is a wardrobe app for iPhone and Android that, with Closie Plus, also includes Skincare: a product shelf, a morning and evening routine plan, use-by dates after opening and a toiletry bag for trips. Your clothes and your skincare share the same morning notification, the same trip planner and the same Smart Buy feature.
Is skincare in Closie free?
No. Your closet and outfits work on the free plan, but Skincare is part of Closie Plus, a monthly or yearly subscription. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial (for new subscribers). On the free plan you see a preview of Skincare. You will find the current price for your country in the App Store or Google Play.
Do I have to use both parts?
No. You can use Closie just as a closet and outfit planner and switch on Skincare whenever you want to organise your products too. If you cancel Closie Plus, your products, plan and ticks stay in the app, but you cannot add new products.
Will Closie assess my skin?
No. Closie does not analyse your skin or face, does not diagnose and is not a medical device. It shows facts about ingredients, warns you about combining certain active ingredients (for example a retinoid with acids) and reminds you about sunscreen. Your skin profile, meaning your skin type, up to 3 goals, fragrance preference and ingredients to avoid, stays only on your phone.
Where is my data stored?
Photos of your clothes, the products on your shelf and your plans are stored on servers in the European Union, are not sold to advertisers and are deleted together with your account. Your skin profile and your list of ingredients to avoid stay on your phone only.
Does Closie work on a computer?
No. Closie is a mobile app for iPhone and Android, with no web version. It is available in 9 languages, including English and Spanish.
